We were gone for about 10 days visiting friends and family. During that time I actually sold 4 items on etsy.com – including the earrings shown here in this post. This is a welcome and interesting turn of events – and makes me wonder if I should simply be traveling more?? LOL
Other items that sold were some of my beaded ponytail holder/hair ties as seen

I am not doing many crafts fairs or artists markets this year – due to all the traveling we seem to be doing. So I am listing more items on etsy. You can visit my shop by clicking on the gallery on this site, or simply going to http://fireblessedart.etsy.com
I may only do one more Trinidad Market, which ends this month anyway, and perhaps the December Arcata Community Arts & Crafts Fair this year.
While we were visiting friends in Tahoe City, I found a very cute little shop that wants to carry my jewelry. I also discovered a controlled burn that the US Forest Service did that resulted in lots of broken glass. I brought a bunch back, and you can expect more recycled jewelry and windchimes as soon as I get the glass cleaned up and into the kiln!
And finally, just before I left I funded 3 more Kiva artisans. I will post their pictures and more info about them soon.
Enjoy your summer! My grandkids already returned to school (yesterday) – whatever happened to starting school after Labor Day????
